Return on Investment Calculator

The above shows your return on investment from purchasing and using a BioPro processor. It uses the cost/gallon to produce biodiesel in the BioPro processor you chose above, the local cost for diesel fuel, and shows the number of weeks (or months) until your investment in the BioPro is paid back from the savings in biodiesel fuel.

Assumptions
  • The ratio of conversion of oil (input) to biodiesel (output) is 1:1.
  • BioPro 190 produces 50 gallons of biodiesel per batch and each batch takes approximately 48 hours.
  • BioPro 190EX produces 50 gallons of biodiesel per batch and each batch takes approximately 24 hours.
  • BioPro 380 produces 100 gallons of biodiesel per batch and each batch takes approximately 48 hours.
  • BioPro 380EX produces 100 gallons of biodiesel per batch and each batch takes approximately 24 hours.
Based on the amount of used cooking oil you have available to process each week, we calculate the best BioPro processor for your needs as follows:
  • 0–150 gallons –> BioPro 190
  • 150–300 gallons –> BioPro 190EX or BioPro 380
  • 300–700 gallons –> BioPro 380EX
  • >700 gallons –> You will need the SpringPro T7
These costs are based on default pricing for chemical inputs in California today.  Please contact Springboard Biodiesel to get the complete dynamic ROI calculator.
